Delhi remains the most polluted megacity with a winter average PM2.5 level of 175 micrograms per cubic metre, 1% higher than the last three-year average. Despite efforts, prolonged poor air quality days persist, with Anand Vihar recording the highest pollution at 227 micrograms per cubic metre.
