Toll on NH crossed Rs 61k crore in FY25; state highways generate over Rs 11k

Toll collection on National Highways in India reached a record Rs 61,500 crore in FY25, a 10% rise from the previous year. Additionally, Indian Railways reported its highest earnings of Rs 2.7 lakh crore, transporting 1,617 million tonnes of freight and 735 crore passengers. The combined achievements signify substantial growth in India's infrastructure sectors.
