44 lakh of 60 lakh users in Delhi got zero power bills in February

Delhi's power subsidy scheme sees a surge in beneficiaries, with up to 45 lakh households receiving zero bills in winter months, driven by free electricity for consuming up to 200 units. Summer usage of cooling appliances reduces the number of zero-bill recipients by almost half. The 201-400 unit segment also shows an upward trend, indicating growing awareness of subsidy ceilings.
