SC raps Rahul Gandhi on Savarkar remarks: 'Not the way you treat freedom fighters'

The Supreme Court has cautioned Rahul Gandhi regarding his remarks against V.D. Savarkar, hinting at potential suo motu action if he continues to denigrate the freedom fighter. While staying a lower court summons against Gandhi, the bench, led by Justice Dipankar Datta, reminded him of Indira Gandhi's past praise for Savarkar.
