In Uttar Pradesh, Aadhaar touts clone 'deputy CM'

A sting operation near the Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Lucknow exposed a thriving tout racket at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Touts, in collusion with staff from Smart Chip Private Limited, fabricated identities for a fee. UIDAI officials confirmed the irregularities after their own investigation and have initiated further probes and filed an FIR.
