17 killed in fire at building near Hyderabad's Charminar; PM Narendra Modi condoles deaths

Fire department officials, alerted around 6:30 am, found numerous unconscious individuals within the building. Approximately 20 people were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment, according to an AIMIM legislator who visited the site.
