Raj Thackeray writes to Maharashtra govt: Teach only Marathi, English from Class 1; warns of protest over Hindi push

Raj Thackeray of MNS has urged the Maharashtra government to limit school languages to Marathi and English. He sent a letter to Dada Bhuse, the education minister, on June 2. Thackeray threatens protests if the demand is unmet. He questions the government's prior decision to make Hindi compulsory. The government had previously paused the Hindi order due to opposition.
