Delhi plans elevated road over Ring Road to ease chronic congestion; Rs 6,000 crore project spans 55km, needs no land acquisition
Saturday, 7 June 2025 () Delhi government is considering building an elevated road above the Ring Road. This project aims to reduce traffic jams. PWD Minister Parvesh Verma has sought a feasibility report. He discussed the plan with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The elevated road will be built on pillars. It will connect to other roads via ramps.
