5-km tunnel to link Mahipalpur to Mandela Marg, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announces approval; check design and structure here

Delhi is set to get a 5-km tunnel. It will connect Shiv Murti-Mahipalpur to Nelson Mandela Road. The project aims to ease traffic between south Delhi and NCR. The tunnel will reduce congestion on key routes. It will create a signal-free corridor. The National Highways Authority of India will construct it. Work is expected to begin early next year.
