BJP leader, lawyer shot, 7 Patna killings in 10 days

In Patna, a BJP functionary was fatally shot in his field, adding to a string of seven killings in the city within the last 10 days under the NDA government. The victim, Surendra Kewat, succumbed to his injuries at Patna AIIMS after being shot at close range.
