Navi Mum airport inauguration likely on September 30: CM confirms launch date; single runway, 1 terminal in initial rollout

Navi Mumbai airport is set to inaugurate on September 30, confirmed by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Initially, domestic flights will commence months later with limited 12-hour operations. Full 24/7 operations are expected with the introduction of international flights early next year. IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express have already announced domestic flights.
