Jamia Hamdard University has withdrawn 150 MBBS and 49 postgraduate medical seats for the 2025-26 academic year due to alleged financial irregularities and governance issues at HIMSR. The NMC's seat matrix shows "zero" seats for HIMSR after a CAG audit revealed Rs 813 crore was diverted. The Delhi High Court acknowledged legal complications, barring seat inclusion.
