Kerala HC commutes life term of IS ex-operative, who was trained in Syria, to 10 years of RI

The Kerala High Court reduced the life sentence of Subahani Haja, an IS operative, to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment. Haja, who fought for ISIS in Iraq in 2015, had his sentence commuted due to his lack of prior criminal record, repentance, and potential for reformation.
