New cancer injection cuts treatment time to just minutes in the UK
Tuesday, 15 July 2025 () England's National Health Service will soon offer nivolumab as a quick injection for cancer patients. This new method cuts treatment time from an hour to just minutes. Patients with skin, bladder, and oesophagus cancers will benefit. Around 1,200 people each month can switch from IV drips. The injection is as effective and saves the NHS time and resources.
