After two weeks of siege, aid starts moving into Gaza Strip

The Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza opened briefly to allow aid into the besieged Palestinian territory, but the amount of aid received was insufficient to address the humanitarian crisis. Israel continued its airstrikes on Gaza, with plans to escalate the attacks. Gaza's hospitals are running low on supplies and fuel, and the aid received did not include fuel. The US secretary of state urged all parties to keep the crossing open for the movement of aid.
