Russian space boss warns ISS equipment beyond warranty
Friday, 27 October 2023 The head of Russia's space agency, Roscosmos, has warned that most Russian equipment on the International Space Station (ISS) is out of warranty. This comes after a coolant leak in the station's Russian segment, the third in less than a year. Roscosmos boss Yuri Borisov stated that the ISS is approaching the end of its existence and that 80% of Russian equipment is beyond its warranty period. Russia's space programme has faced multiple setbacks, including the loss of Mars missions and a lunar probe.
