Who is Patrick Dai, Cornell University student accused of threatening Jewish peers?

Patrick Dai, who has been accused of making violent threats against Jewish students, entered Cornell as one of the five National Merit Scholars from Pittsford-Mendon High School. He was also recognized as a 12-time AP Scholar and had volunteered at Rochester General Hospital. At Cornell, he took on roles such as an undergraduate consultant, assisting peers with MATLAB programming, and served as the director of logistics for the school's Science Olympiad. In his messages, Dai threatened to stab and slit the throat of Jewish males on campus and rape Jewish females.
