Ukraine shelling kills 9 in occupied south: local official

Ukrainian shelling in the Russian-occupied southern Kherson region resulted in the death of nine individuals, according to Moscow-installed occupational authorities. The attack occurred as Kyiv conducts a counteroffensive to regain territory from Russian forces in southern Ukraine. "Nine dead people were pulled out from under the rubble," Vladimir Saldo, the Russian-installed head of the Moscow-occupied Kherson region, told Russian state television.
