Iran President Raisi says action, not words, needed on Gaza

IndiaTimes Saturday, 11 November 2023
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized the need for action rather than talk in resolving the conflict in Gaza as he traveled to Saudi Arabia for a summit. Raisi stated that unity among Islamic countries is crucial and that the summit will send a strong message against war crimes in Palestine. He also criticized the United States for preventing a ceasefire in Gaza and accused them of expanding the war. This visit is the first by an Iranian head of state since tensions with Saudi Arabia eased in March.
