Nearly 200 Rohingya refugees land in Indonesia: Official

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 14 November 2023
Nearly 200 Rohingya refugees, including women and children, arrived in Indonesia's Aceh Province, marking the largest group of Rohingya to arrive in months. The Rohingya, who are mostly Muslim, risk their lives on dangerous sea journeys to reach Malaysia or Indonesia. The refugees are being assisted by local authorities and residents, with images showing them waiting on the beach for help. Over 2,000 Rohingya attempted the journey in 2022, with many dying or going missing.
