In a devastating incident on Thursday, two Nevada state troopers lost their lives while rendering assistance to a driver on Interstate 15 in Las Vegas. The officers, later identified as Sgt. Michael Abbate and Trooper Alberto Felix, were struck by a vehicle in the pre-dawn hours. The tragic event unfolded when the two Highway Patrol officers were conducting a motorist assist, checking on a driver who was asleep behind the wheel. The suspect, identified as Jemarcus Williams, aged 46, allegedly struck the troopers and fled the scene.
