Wednesday, 17 April 2024 () Service men of the United States Air Force (USAF) discovered an ancient campsite at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico that is thought to date back more than 8,000 years. The discovery reveals important information about the region's early residents. The spot, known as Gomolak Overlook, was discovered by 49th Civil Engineer Squadron environmental flight personnel and geomorphologists.
