7 killed, 23 injured after racing car deviates from track in Sri Lanka

During a motor car racing event in Sri Lanka's Uva province on Sunday, a tragic incident claimed the lives of at least seven people, including a child, while leaving 23 others critically injured. The mishap occurred when a participating car veered off the track at Diyathalawa's central hill resort, colliding with spectators. This resulted in the fatalities and injuries mentioned.
