Rare editions of Pushkin are vanishing from libraries around Europe

In April 2022, shortly after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, two men came to the University of Tartu library in Estonia's second-largest city. They informed the librarians that they were Ukrainian individuals escaping the war and requested to examine 19th-century first editions of works by Alexander Pushkin, the national poet of Russia, and Nikolai Gogol.
