Police shot and killed a man in northern France after he set fire to a synagogue in Rouen. The incident, treated as an antisemitic act, was brought under control by firefighters. Mayor Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol confirmed no other casualties. French Interior Minister GΓ©rald Darmanin labeled the fire as an antisemitic act.
