Canada imposes post-study work program curbs

Canada's immigration minister, Marc Miller, announced that the cap on international students will remain alongside new measures to manage temporary resident arrivals. These changes include modifications to the post-graduate work programme and spousal work eligibility, impacting many Indian students. The student permit intake cap will decrease by 10% in 2025.
