At the end of last year astronomers detected a new asteroid named 2024 YR4 but it wasn’t like other solar system travelers. That’s because this one passed right by us and, after further calculations, experts say it might just collide with Earth in 2032.
NASA’s Perseverance rover has discovered a bizarre, skull-shaped rock—dubbed “Skull Hill”—on the Jezero Crater rim of Mars. The dark, angular rock with tiny pits sharply contrasts the surrounding terrain. Scientists speculate it may have formed through erosion or resulted from an ancient impact event.
