Donald Trump halts tariffs on some Canadian, Mexican imports until April 2 after market unrest

US President Donald Trump temporarily lifted tariffs on Canada and Mexico, easing trade tensions and providing relief after market backlash. The suspension is effective until April 2 and follows similar relief in the automotive sector.
