Thursday, 10 April 2025 () Jillian Lauren Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot in the shoulder by LAPD officers responding to a hit-and-run incident. She emerged from her residence with a handgun, refused to drop it when ordered, and was subsequently shot.
