US again targets Iran oil despite talks

The US has sanctioned Hebei Xinhai Chemical Group, a Chinese refinery, for processing Iranian oil. Three port operators in Shandong are also targeted. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated the US aims to curb Iran's revenue streams. This is the third US action against the Chinese refineries since February. President Trump hopes for a nuclear deal despite these measures.
