Pentagon approves 600 military lawyers to serve as temp immigration judges

The Trump administration is increasingly relying on the military to crack down on illegal immigration. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth approved sending up to 600 military lawyers to the Justice Department as temporary immigration judges to address the massive backlog of 3.5 million cases.
