Afghanistan: 50 Afghan soldiers killed in ongoing Taliban attack
Friday, 21 April 2017 In Afghanistan, more than 50 Afghan soldiers have been killed during an ongoing Taliban attack on their base in northern Balkh province today.A US military spokesman told AFP that the attack lasted several hours but was over by early evening.
The number of people killed in a Taliban attack on a military base in Afghanistan has risen to 140. That makes it the deadliest strike yet by the terrorist group against the army, since the US intervention began in 2001.
