BBC Cameraman Reportedly Attacked At Texas Trump Rally
According to CNN Business, the BBC says their cameraman was attacked at a Trump rally on Monday.
Cameraman, Ron Skeans, was covering President Donald Trump's rally in El Paso, Texas when the BBC says that he was "violently pushed and shoved by a member of the crowd."
Video provided by the BBC shows a man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat coming into contact with a cameraman and swearing, before being taken away.
Ron says that he felt "a very hard shove," and "I didn't know what was going on."
Eleanor Montague, the BBC's Washington News Editor, tweeted that the El Paso crowd was "whipped up into a frenzy against the media by Trump and other speakers all night."
Although the White House has not yet made a statement about the incident, CNN says, "The public broadcaster said Trump could see the incident, and 'checked with us that all was ok.'"
