Social Media Sites Fail to Contain Spread of New Zealand Shooting Footage The attacks on two Christchurch mosques have left 49 people dead.

The video quickly went viral on other major sites like YouTube and Twitter.

Companies quickly removed it, but footage has since been reposted many times.

Officials are now criticizing the tech giants once again for reacting too slowly to harmful content.

Some are even accusing them of purposely letting the video be reposted.
