Govt school opens in Rajkot amid lockdown, investigation underway
Amid nationwide lockdown, a school in Rajkot's Pardi area was opened today and around 100 students attended the school to take their test results.
Though it is officially announced that no school, college or any educational institute are allowed to open in the lockdown, yet Swami Vivekanand government school in Pardi village in Rajkot district was opened on May 2.
The Rajkot collector and district development officer have asked for the inquiry.
Rajkot Zilla Panchayat Samiti Chairman K D Padariya has assured that investigation is underway and the person responsible for it will be punished.
