Illinois Announces 2,270 New COVID-19 Cases, 136 Additional Deaths

Illinois Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike said there have been 2,270 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the past day, including 136 deaths.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Illinois has 68,232 confirmed cases in 97 counties, including 2,974 deaths.

So far, 361,260 tests have been conducted in Illinois.
