Whilst hosting the coronavirus daily briefing at Downing Street, Matt Hancock called on everyone to not meet in groups of larger than six, making reference to the protests that have taken place in recent weeks as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The UK's death toll has risen by 151, taking the total number of fatalities to to 41,279.
