With the removal of the former Mississippi state flag and the demand for the removal of all Confederate monuments in Gulfport, News 25 reached out to Beauvoir.
Gov. Tate Reeves signed House Bill 1796 into law Tuesday afternoon, thus removing the longtime state flag which featured a Confederate battle emblem. Video provided by WLBT-TV.
