Coronavirus in numbers: Worldwide deaths pass 700,000
The Department of Health and Social Care said 46,299 people had died inhospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive forcoronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Monday.
The Government said 41,501 people had died in the UK within 28 days of testingpositive for Covid-19 as of Sunday, an increase of two on the day before.

More than 25 million people have now been infected with COVID-19 worldwide. The CDC now says almost all of the people who died from COVID-19 in the US had underlying health conditions.
