India reports more than 68 thousand cases in the last 24 hours, tally over 29 lakh | Oneindia News

As India continues to reel under the Coronavirus Pandemic, the single day jumps remain over 60 thousand now.

India surpassed the 29 lakh-mark with a single a day jump of 68,898 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

The death toll mounted to 54,849 as 983 people died in the last 24 hours.

While the recovery rate stood at 8.54 per cent this morning, taking the total no.

Of recovered patients to over 21 lakh.

Most of the cases and deaths have been reported from 5 states- Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.

India has tested over 3.3 crore samples so far.
