UP journalist shot dead: Police detains state Congress chief who was heading to meet victim's family

Police detained Uttar Pradesh Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lallu while he was going to Ballia to meet family members of journalist Ratan Singh.

Ratan Singh was shot dead at residence of a village head in Ballia district on August 24.

Earlier, UP Minister Anand Swarup also visited district hospital in Ballia.
