A newborn baby died at a Delhi hospital due to unavailability of ventilator.

The family claimed that they didn't receive the needed treatment.

"The newborn had a pre-mature birth and needed ventilator facility.

Hospital's official referred the newborn for Safdarjung Hospital.

Safdarjung Hospital didn't have ventilator and asked family to shift the newborn in general ward but family refused and meanwhile, the baby collapsed there," said Dr MS Madhav, Chief Medical Officer of Pt.
