An iron bar smashed through the front windscreen of a car after being run over by a truck on a highway in eastern China.

The CCTV video, shot in the city of Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province on September 21, shows a truck running over an iron bar on the road, causing it to fly up and smash into a car behind.
The driver then stopped his car and got out to call the police.
According to reports, the metal block was a part of a rusted bumper that had dropped from a transport truck when it drove past the area.
The driver suffered minor injuries and the case is under further investigation.
