Mummy returns: 2500 years old, sealed mummy coffin opened in Egypt: Video goes viral|Oneindia News

In a thrilling video, The coffin of a mummy sealed some 2500 years ago was opened.

The archaeologists in Egypt opened the ancient mummy coffin in front of a live audience at the event hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

Dozens of people on Saturday watched and filmed as the first of 59 sealed sarcophagi found earlier this year in Saqqara,was opened, revealing a mummy inside.

The video has now gone viral on social media.

It was nothing less than being in a The Mummy movie where a series of events are unleashed once the coffin is opened.
