Bidhannagar Mayor-in-Council Debasish Jana and three Trinamool Congress (TMC) councillors from Asansol joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday in Kolkata ahead of the forthcoming Assembly polls in West Bengal. The four TMC leaders were inducted into BJP in presence of the party's state president Dilip Ghosh. The developments come a day after TMC leader and former Asansol Mayor Jitendra Tiwari on Tuesday joined the BJP at a public meeting in Hooghly. Watch the full video for more details.

While speaking to media in Kolkata on March 02, West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh spoke ahead of the West Bengal Assembly polls. Ghosh said, "Core Committee discussed candidates for Phase 1 and 2 polls. It will be declared soon. We also reviewed the upcoming election rallies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Yogi Adityanath in the state."
While speaking to media in Kolkata on March 02, the Chairman of Indian Secular Front (ISF), Naushad Siddiqui spoke about seat sharing ahead of the West Bengal Assembly polls. Siddiqui said, "Our discussion with the Left front on seat sharing is settled. We gave a list of six candidates for seats in North Bengal."
