London Zoo is one of the world's oldest zoos and animal research centers. But it's also losing around $1.4 million a month by remaining closed to the public, and staff are worried about its survival chances. Adam Reed reports.
Love is in the air! Animals at two major zoos are getting in the Valentine's Day spirit early with keeper's showering them in love and handing out special treats. Bolivian black-capped squirrel monkey's at ZSL London Zoo were given treats in little love heart-designed pouches, and koala's Anna and Elsa at the Australian Reptile Park were given extra cuddles and kisses as well as a beautiful bouquet of toses. Nuka, a nine-year-old squirrel monkey from the pack, will be having a particularly busy Valentine's Day as the mischievous monkey has a whopping seven partners to keep happy!
