Clinically vulnerable and over 65s offered Covid jab as vaccine programme enters new phase
The National Medical director for England, Stephen Powis welcomes the new phase of the vaccination programme as clinically vulnerable people in England are being invited to book their Covid-19 jab along with people aged 65 to 69.
Almost 1.2 million letters are due to have landed on doorsteps by Saturday asking people to log on to the national booking service, with a further 1.2 million due to arrive this week.
AstraZeneca has globally withdrawn its Covid vaccine, citing commercial reasons. The company voluntarily revoked its marketing authorization and announced the cessation of vaccine production, rendering it unusable. have seen their first increase in ranks, changing course
on a historic exodus of officers in recent years.
According to a recent survey,

Research Forum (PERF) also found that fewer law
enforcement officers resigned or retired in 2023. .

NBC reports that declining numbers left
many police departments with a shortage of
officers, which resulted in slower response times.

According to Wexler, law enforcement , "isn't out of the woods yet.".
At least a dozen smaller police departments in
the nation have been forced to disband, leaving those
municipalities reliant upon state or county police forces.
