Turning the corner: New CDC guidelines offer slow return to normal
The Centers for Disease Control says fully vaccinated people can socialize with each other and other low risk groups, but should continue wearing masks in public.
Some of the largest school districts in Colorado are celebrating a recent announcement from the CDC which allows students to be closer together while in the education setting.
On Monday, the CDC issued new mask guidelines saying those who are fully vaccinated or low-risk for COVID-19 can attend indoor small gatherings without wearing a mask.
The CDC director said people who have been vaccinated for COVID-19 may gather with people considered low-rise, like grandparents visiting healthy grandchildren.
