With the surge in the COVID cases, Lucknow Police were seen distributing masks to the people and issuing challans, who were moving around the city without masks and were seen violating the basic COVID protocols at public places.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Chiranjeev Nath Sinha said, "Team has been deployed for each ward to stop the spread of second COVID wave and even police is making people aware of wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
