Post-Brexit rights: EU citizens given 28 days to apply to stay in UK
EU nationals who have not applied for settled status in the UK by the June 30 deadline will be given a formal 28-day warning to do so or risk losing their right to live, work and access free healthcare in the country.

Spain denied port access to a Danish ship carrying 27 tons of explosives from Chennai to Haifa, Israel, citing the need for peace in the Middle East over more weapons. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares emphasized this new policy amid the ongoing Gaza conflict, which began on October 7.
